Hello!

I'm Sarmishta, a graphic and experience designer originally from India. Handful was born in Berlin as a result of great many after-work experiments and experiences with food over the last few years. On the one hand, I was exploring cooking to feed and on the other, playing with its rich yet ephemeral nature as a medium of sentiment and more. My work now is an amalgam of exploring it as a form, as a story, as a need, as an experience, as a living and at times, even as an oddity, fueled by a deep interest in interdisciplinary vocabularies. This takes shape through writing, photography, styling, art direction, food/design workshops and design projects.
